Encino Man encapsulates everything great about a early 90s teen comedy

You have Pauly Short with the iconic 90s fashion, speaking his own language as he does in his movies. Brendan Fraser having the time of his life in an early role. Sean Astin constantly whining throughout the movie, trying to become popular and noticed by his high school crush. The clueless parents. The sibling who does not buy into it. An over the top bully with no character growth. The classic dress up/fix up the friend scene. And for some reason, Sean Astin trying to build a pool on his own with a shovel. What's not to love?
