What's the best opening scene of the year so far?

I have a couple good candidates:

Oppenheimer is of course a no-brainer here, though in this regard it's more of an opening montage, with the establishment of the two-platform Fission storyline and the simultaneous creation of the Fusion storyline at the same time, with three different events in 1926, 1954 and 1959 playing out before our eyes in essentially mixed succession. It's all excellent, though: it provides enough background on the key players, Julius Oppenheimer and Lewis Strauss, and is coupled with some great cinematography, as well as a fantastic music track "Fission", which serves as an audio background for the first of the two storylines, and the first of three themes for Oppenheimer himself, the other two being "Can You Hear The Music" and "American Prometheus".

Barbie is just pure fun, and a great deal of top-notch technical execution. Sprinkle in some quality acting, and add an absolutely killer track "Pink" with Lizzo giving it her all on the vocals, and you got yourself an introduction to a modern classic.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is a yet another lovely departure from the peppy, bombastic Marvel fanfare usually opening the film. The logos' sequence is still present, but this time John Murphy's "Kits" takes over as a dread-filled background piece of audio. Regardless of how long do we consider this scene to stretch (I see it all the way up to Adam Warlock's defeat), it is still compelling. A great deal of dread, character, worldbuilding, fun, emotion or action.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is probably the best shot cold open out of all these, coupling glorious lighting with Lawrence Fishburne's narration and a warm-up montage, and then John Wick simply saying: YEAH. Nuff said.

What are your candidates?
