I'm wimp and don't enjoy most horror movies. Today I watched 28 Days Later and really enjoyed it.

I don't enjoy jump scares in movies or supernatural horror. I usually stay away from horror genre all together. There have been a few instances where I've been so intrigued by a story that I'll watch it (during the day with all the lights on).

I've liked movies such as Get Out, World War Z, and A Quiet Place. To me, these are bloody, action movies.

My first post-lockdown movie in the theater was A Quiet Place II because i genuinely love the first. I was relieved that movie wasn't scary but it really enhanced my appreciation for Cillian Murphy.

So today I decided to watch his early work in 28 Days Later because the movie is highly rated and recommended.

Thankfully, this movie was just suspenseful with some blood. This movie's version of a zombie is very interesting to watch during a pandemic. The story it self flowed well and kept me interested. I found the ending satisfying.

I was additionally delighted to see an ever-youthful Naomi Harris in it as well.

I can see why so many people enjoyed it.

Anyone have recommendations for other non-scary scary movies?
