After finding out that JP was being showed at cinemas for its 30th anniversary, I immediately got tickets. This movie is just excellent. The way it moves from awe of their first reactions to seeing dinosaurs, to questioning if this is even morally okay, to straight horror of the creations John Hammond made happen. The ice cream scene with Hammond and Dr. Sattler is chef’s kiss. “Yeah well your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
