So I'm not talking about things like Aliens, Terminator 2 or The Godfather part 2, where yeah you can make the arguement are better than their original, because those originals are considered classics in their own right.
I'm looking for sequels that you think where much better than the original film, which was considered bad, decent or average at best.
For me, Adams Family Values. Although it's a slightly dumbed down film on the darker original, it really benefits from the addition of Joan Cusack and further focus on Wednesday at the Summer Camp. I don't think either films are anything special but definitely prefer the sequel out of the two.
