Akira Kurosawa movies have been a huge blind spot for me, and I'm looking for advice on which ones I should watch first. And as long as we're here, I figured we could list some introductory films for other directors that ppl might be interested in.
If someone were to ask me where to start with Ingmar Bergman, I would probably tell them Wild Strawberries (1959), The Seventh Seal (1958), and Fanny and Alexander (1982) in that order. The list doesn't have to be limited to three though, and feel free to mention any "advanced" picks that come to mind.
