What Movie villains would have had an easy case if they had lawyers?

I would say Gaston from Beauty and the Beast (1991) It would probably go like this.

Our first line of defense will be to challenge the perception of Gaston as a true villain. We will argue that he was a beloved and respected figure in the community before the events of the story unfolded. Witnesses can testify to his role as a leading citizen, his generosity towards the townspeople, and his status as a decorated hero.

We will argue that the Beast’s initial act of imprisoning Belle within his castle constitutes a serious crime of kidnapping. Despite any subsequent positive interactions they may have had, the fact remains that Belle was forcibly taken from her home against her will. This action alone raises concerns about the Beast’s character and intentions.

TL;DR: Beast was holding pepole as prisoners and the whole town was on Gaston’s side
