I don't mean necessarily the goriest scene or the one that made you want to throw up the most (though maybe those are your favourites), but which scenes had gore that made you go 'damn'?
I'm not a huge film buff but I remember having that reaction to the motel scene in Drive. I didn't feel the movie would be using gore at all until that point, so seeing a head explode real graphically was a real fun surprise.
The reverse bear trap from Saw also had my eyebrows raised, but that just feels gratuitous.
