Recently rewatched Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2. While Kick-Ass is definitely better, I still have a very fun time with the sequel. Can anyone explain why Kick-Ass 2 is so hated by both critics and audiences? The only major problem I have with the movie is I hate what they did with Dave and Katie’s relationship, her just stupidly breaking up with him at the beginning without giving him a chance to explain what he and Mindy were talking about. I really enjoyed the progression of their relationship in the first film and this was weird. Also Mindy kissing Dave at the end was awkward. But besides that I really enjoy the movie.
