Bennett Miller directed three critically acclaimed, Oscar-nominated films in Capote (2005), Moneyball (2011), and Foxcatcher (2014), all not perfect but excellent films, then basically dropped off the face of the earth. He seemed like the next up-and-coming prestige director, having been nominated for Best Director twice, but basically hasn't been heard from in nine years. According to Wikipedia, he has been working on a documentary about "the topic of future technologies featuring contributions by academics and experts in the field" but there is not a ton of information about this project.
Whatever happened to this guy? Have projects of his been cancelled? I was very interested in his work after these three films but it seems like he has basically shunned Hollywood.
