Alien or Aliens?

For me that is a tough question.

Alien:

- Delivers intense atmospheric horror

- Gives us great characters with great performances

- Demonstrates the capabilities of just one Xenomorph

- Has a beautifully written plot

Aliens:

- Introduces new awesome characters

- Builds on the lore of the Xenomorphs

- Injects some of that gung ho 1980s action seamlessly into its horror premise

- Cements Ripley as the most badass female character in all of cinema

Sir Ridley Scott and James Cameron absolutely NAILED it with both films and to this day, I am still struggling to pick a favourite.
