Who are some uncompromising/very picky actors?

What are some actors that come off as uncompromising/very picky based either on their filmography or comments they themselves have made regarding their choices?

There are several examples that come to mind. Frances McDormand seems to have been picky about her roles and outspoken about it. She's mentioned in a few podcasts and interviews that she only did "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" (2011) and "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" (2012) for financial reasons.

Although she ended up becoming a caricature of a Hollywood diva, Faye Dunaway was known for being extremely picky in the early decades of her career, with many critics considering her filmography at the time "near perfect".

Liv Ullmann rejected many lucrative offers during her incredible acting career, including a part on "Sex and the City" (despite being a fan of the show) and a role in "Ocean's 12" that Soderbergh had specifically written for her.

Daniel Day-Lewis was also a very picky actor, appearing in only 21 films over the course of nearly half a century and taking multiple long hiatuses in between roles. Let's not forget that he retired at the age of 60, basically saying that he doesn't have a strong drive for creating art anymore.
