Which legendary classic movie left you disappointed when you finally watched it?

For me it was Cronenberg’s The Crash. Thought this would be some deep exploration of the darkness in human psyche and people finding pleasure to death and injury sounded like an intriguing aspect to consider. Instead I felt like I watched a cheap softcore porn movie, far too dull and lifeless for its premise. When they re-enacted James Dean’s car crash, I actually read a Wikipedia article about it on my phone which was far more interesting than anything happening on the screen. I just don’t get how anyone would find The Crash engaging.

This thread is probably going to be offensive for some people, but alas. Share the movie opinions that you always wanted to say out loud!
