Does anyone know any good films about recovery from depression/the beauty of being alive/coming "back to life?"

I am going through a pretty severe depressive episode at the moment, I would love if I could find a big, but not ultra-schmaltzy, film about what makes life worth living, or a character finding something to live for. A couple I love with this sort of template: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Punch-Drunk Love, Mind Game, American Splendor.
