I'm writing this after watching the new Avatar movie and I couldn't help but think about how tiresome the fight sequences have gotten. I don't know if it's the hangover from bad Marvel movies or if I just wasn't feeling it at the time. I was just rewatching the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and I remembered each fight sequence very vividly. I can't recall a single movie that I've seen recently where the action sequences have stayed with me. Has this happened to y'all as well?
