Some of today's most inventive and affecting cinema comes from German-speaking countries. Have a look!

One great example is Maria Schrader's 'I'm Your Man,' which stars Dan Stevens and Maren Eggert. Germany's nominee for the 2022 Oscars, it raises thought-provoking questions about intimacy and imagination. But there are many more good German-language films each year, though relatively few Americans ever hear about them.
