I’m looking for movie suggestions that portray social isolation. I’m trying to cover the theme of isolation prior to reading The Metamorphosis to a class of 12th graders and using this as a segue.
It can be a movie, short film, a documentary might be nice. It doesn’t have to be too on the nose or kiddy just appropriate enough and have enough content to connect to isolation.
One that I was contemplating was A Silent Voice but want more options. Thank you!
Update: Maybe more focusing on the feeling of being isolated rather than literal physical isolation.
