I believe a lot of the errors in movies can be eliminated if the audience or a focus group reviews the script before it goes for production. I think they are already doing it, but it seems it isn't helping. For this to work, the audience should demonstrate this practice.
As an audience, do you read screenplays, for released movies?
As an audience, would you read screenplays, if the filmmaker hands it to you before production?
Would you enjoy watching a movie after you have read the screenplay?
