Interstellar is Nolan's best movie.

From a directing acting, visual effects and musical score It is by and large Christopher Nolan's best movie of his career. I used to say The Prestige was my favorite Christopher Nolan movie and I'll be honest at first Interstellar wasn't my favorite but on subsequent rewatches it is now what I consider to be his best work.

The performance from Matthew McConaughey is absolutely gut-wrenching at times his acting during the messages from home scene and when he sees his daughter or some of the best acting he's ever done even more so than the first season of true detective. He puts his all into the role of Cooper.

Jessica Chastain as always delivers I've never seen her put in a bad performance.

The rest of the stellar cast are fantastic and shine in their respective roles.

TARS and CASE I definitely my favorite characters in the movie.

Hans Zimmer gives an incredible score that I can listen to for hours on end.

Compared to his other sci-fi ventures Interstellar is his best hands down.
