Can we just take a moment to appreciate the genius that is Damien Chazelle he hasn’t made many movies but Whiplash and La La Land are masterpieces in my opinion and definitely two of the best movies ever made and that I’ve ever seen. The cinematography in both are incredible but especially in La La Land some of those shots make for beautiful wall art the music as well is incredible. Every aspect of film making magic there is are present and at their best in these movies. He also loves a fantastic ending to a movie. The amount of tension in the ending of whiplash was just mind boggling it is just 10 minutes of pure anxiety and I was loving every second of it. Then he absolutely nailed the ending of La La Land. The ending is what changes the movie from a good one to an all time great one in my opinion. He has a new movie coming out on Christmas and I will certainly be there opening week
