Alien vs. Predator, Batman v Superman, Godzilla vs Kong, Freddy vs Jason, Cowboys vs Aliens...even Ford vs Ferrari (Technically, it does have a "vs, lol)
In theory, pitting popular movies characters against each other seems like a win, but often (or most) times the result doesn't work...
Interested to hear thoughts on your favorites (or least faves) as well as why something didn't work. Even non franchise vs films (like Cowboys vs Aliens or the animated Monsters vs Aliens) are open for discussion. Is the vs trope simply too difficult to pull off or is Hollywood simply going about it the wrong way.
Also if you could pitch a new "vs" film, what would it be?
