Are The Sandlot and Goonies on the same level? Both cult classics? Or is one a lot better than the other?

The wife and I are divided on the issue are they both on the same level of greatness? Is one a lot better than the other? Are they similar? Instead of posting my opinion, I'd like to hear what everyone thinks. Here is what IMDB thinks of them:

The Sandlot: 7.8 out of 10, rated PG, 1993

The Goonies: 7.7 out of 10, rated PG, 1985
