Theres no reason Shrek shouldn't be just another Dreamworks film; oddly designed characters, talking animals, every cliché possible, ends in a musical.
Yet it gets better everytime i watch it, it feels so timeless.
Is there any real answer as to why this movie seems to turn every normal movie "weakness" into a strength and work in its favor?
