In the opening scene of Michael Clayton (2007) we see Clooney going back and forth with a distressed client following a hit and run
The client exclaims Clooney's partner was sending a miracle worker, when Clooney only states that he will need a trial lawyer and he knows a few good ones in the local area. The client predictably gets upset over only getting a referral instead of a miracle/more alleviating options
To be honest, I'd be kind of pissed too if my lawyer sent a "miracle worker" who only said I can get you a good trial lawyer and started hitting me with metaphors. What was Clooney/his partner supposed to do that in that situation if anything?
