and I’m realizing that Steve Carrell and Greg Kinnear could have easily switched parts and the movie would have been just as good, if not better. This is simply an observation, as I still consider this one of my favorites. But picturing Carrell as the desperate dad trying to sell his stupid program, and Kinnear as the post-suicide-attempt intellectual gay uncle, just seems like it would have been better.
