THIS is how you Film Club

So my mates and I have had a film club going for about a year now. The other week marked the end of our second Season: 25 films over 25 weeks, picked by the 5 of us.

The really fun part is that at the end of the Season we all rank the movies from 1 to 25, or best to worst. Then we put those five lists together to come up with a Final Rank, made from the average of all our ranks.

What you’ll see below is the Final Rank of all 25 movies we watched this Season. What’s extra fun is that we all do little write-ups for each film too (request and you shall be rewarded).

This is a great way to watch movies with friends who might not live in the same state as you. One movie per week is very doable, and the week in between gives us plenty of time to chat about the movie and stuff. We highly recommend this style of Film Club! For us it’s been an absolute blast. Personally, my favorite part of our club - besides seeing great movies with my mates - is running all the statistics at the end, like "most divisive movie," which this Season was Witchfinder General.
