We were watching Home Alone Tonight and I I kept thinking how it is obvious why that movie is such a classic from the directions to the camera work to the dialog. It is filled with great examples of setups and payoffs if you're paying attention and not distracted by people running around decorating for Christmas.
This lead me to ponder, what is the most recent classic movie that has come out? I am probably biased because I am old but it just feels like there aren't that many great movies made nowadays.
