TIMES WHEN YOU WISHED A MOVIE CHARACTER WOULD ESCAPE FROM A PERILOUS SITUATION BUT THEY DIE/FAIL ANYWAY
t’s amazing how movie fans can develop a love for a character in a two-hour timespan. We build a vested interest in their survival; We admire their constitution and grit. How many times have you bitten off your nails hoping that the character would make it, but to your shock and dismay they croak? This post isn’t limited to death of a character. In some cases it’s not even a matter of life and death. They might get captured, lose the guy/girl, or experience some other type of epic fail that breaks the viewer’s heart.
