I personally love a good dinner table scene. Doesn’t necessarily have to be dinner of course, but generally scenes that involve people sitting together eating offers so much in terms of character interaction. And they’re especially good for building tension.
I love the ones in Phantom Thread (what a film btw) and the dinner scene in Donnie Darko always makes me laugh.
