In "Muppets Most Wanted," Danny Trejo plays a singer / dancer / murderer imprisoned in a Siberian gulag. The character's name is Danny Trejo. Therefore, in the MCU (Muppet Cinematic Universe) Danny Trejo actually is a cold-blooded criminal serving time for his heinous crimes. Further, in "Muppets Haunted Mansion" he shows up again, this time as a ghost. I have to assume he either died under the cruel treatment of gulag leader Nadya, or perhaps was sent into the mansion with the promise of winning his freedom if he survived the night. Either way it's opened my eyes.
