Johnny English Strikes Again (2018) is a charmingly silly movie that's thoroughly enjoyable.

This movie is just fun. The story has some neat satire and commentary about technology. Rowan Atkinson plays with the physical comedy he's known for with Mr. Bean, Emma Thompson is just perfect as the Prime Minister of The UK, and Jake Lacy hams it up as the villain.

The simple premise is that all of the active MI7 agents have their identities exposed by a cyber attack, forcing them to pull in an older agent. That older agent being Johnny English, currently working as a teacher, secretly training his students in espionage, which is kinda funny. He is given the mission to find the hacker.

The story moves at a quick pace, going from one scene to the next, wasting little to no time. The jokes and comedy work thanks to Rowan Atkinson using the physical comedy he is known for with Mr. Bean. Highlights include a VR scene that I vividly remember the theater absolutly lose it at.

It's just silly, charming, and enjoyable.
