A question about A Quiet Place.

So I read up a bit on the alien creatures known as Death Angels in A Quiet Place. So there are two things that get me.

1.They got to earth by 1 meteor that crashed in Mexico which was confirmed by the paper on the wall(also think the director has confirmed this as well).

1. Also confirmed by the director, they can't swim. They drown due to their weight (because of armor) and because of their physiology.

So, with that being known. How the Kentucky Fried Fuck did they get to the other countries?!?
