I feel like this sub has almost nothing but hate for Tenet, but I actually loved it, which is pretty odd considering I'm a kid lol.
A lot of people don't like this movie because it's very VERY confusing, but I love films that make you think and Tenet is a perfect example, especially now when the norm is stuff like the MCU and sequels and reboots, Tenet feels like a breath of fresh air.
The concept of moving backwards in time allows for some very inventive action sequences, and IMO the action is one of the best parts of the movie, the Freeport fight where TP fights his inverted self is the standout IMO.
The soundtrack by Ludwig Goransson is incredible, he delivers one of Nolan's best scores, just listen to Posterity if you haven't yet.
I don't think Tenet is a masterpiece and admittedly it does have some flaws, sometimes Tenet gets a bit TOO confusing to the point of becoming a mess at times, the sound mixing is REALLY bad, the characters really aren't the strong suit of the film, the performances are pretty strong with Robert Pattinson being the standout, but that's all that really carries the characters, and Sator is a pretty hammy villain.
But IMO overall the strengths outweigh the weaknesses, Tenet isn't Nolan's best movie, but I still love it.
