TV Tropes defines this 10 year timespan as the cultural beginning and end of the 2000's, which got me thinking. When someone says, "80's movie," you have an expectation, same thing when someone says 70's and 90's movies. All of these decades had movies that both defined them in pop culture and managed to push the artform forward in someway.
And so I ask: When I say, "2000's movie," what do you think of? And what were the major trends of the decade, if it had any?
