This is absurd. Without Remorse is arguably one of Clancy’s best books, yet aside from a few character names this movie has zero to do with the book after which it’s titled. Wtf?
Edit: Tom Clancy's Without Remorse was an excellent book, and as I mentioned one of his best if not his best work. The Amazon adaptation of it is so far away from the original story, and so much less, as to wonder why they even bothered the association. It's just another action movie, with almost none of the gritty story offered in the original text. I understand Savoy bought the rights to the movie back in the early 90's. I guess it's just one more example of a studio exec thinking they know better than the author, or the viewer, what we'll like.
Two thumbs down.
