Which stars are most emblematic of a decade?

For example, I really enjoyed the original Stakeout and thought it would be a cool idea if the sequel focused on the day crew, as Forest Whitaker and Dan Lauria later became big stars, albeit the latter to a generation weaned on The Wonder Years. You had to be there!

Then I clicked on Another Stakeout and up pops Rosie O'Donnell, which made me groan "Nothing screams '90s more than shoehorning Rosie into your sequel!"

Another example would be Denis Leary. His cynical, wiseacre character seems to pop up in everything '90s related as well. And you're free to pick other decades of course!
