What are some film scores that you don't think get enough attention?
I quite enjoyed Harold Faltermeyer's score for Cop Out, it was refreshing to see a modern film that had a score that sounded more like an 80s movie then a contemporary one. It was similar to his work on the Beverly Hills Cop films, but not so similar that it felt like self-plagiarism.
Also Bruce Broughton's incredible score for Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, usually I don't remember orchestral soundtracks too well, but this one in particular has stuck in my memory ever since I was a kid. It uses some instruments you don't typically hear in orchestral scores(more flutes and less brass) and it knows how to be dramatic, upbeat, funny and heartwarming all at the same time.
