Should the Mission Impossible franchise continue after Tom Cruise?

It could become the new, superior spy series compared to James Bond.

The last Bond was released in 2015.

MI has had 2 entries since then and they where both (a lot) better than Spectre.

So I wonder if they should continue the franchise and just swap the actor who plays Ethan Hunt.

Then again, I don‘t see anyone who could replace Tom Cruise. He IS Ethan Hunt.

But I also hate to see the franchise stop after him.
