What movies have amazing, underappreciated natural landscapes that you don't see in film often?

I was having a conversation recently about the landscapes you're treated to in the film Babe, yes, the movie about the pig (I know, odd movie to cite the landscape) thinking it was in New Zealand, but the film was actually filmed in Australia.

Regardless, the farm, open fields, country roads are all pretty relaxing and allow you the chance to take in a part of the world not oft shown in cinema. It's not an exotic beach, or island in paradise, but a landscape most people would think is plain and boring, however amazingly naturally beautiful (as a parent, although I do find the movie pleasant, and allows me to reminisce on my childhood, it can be a tough movie to watch 20 times in a row)

Another that comes to mind is A Place Beyond the Pines. Again, upstate NY, out in the sticks, just trees everywhere; however, the rolling shots of him cruising through the woods are gorgeous.

Or, as I'm sure many people are ready to suggest, LOTR/Hobbit with the New Zealand Shire. Not quite as "subtle" so to speak, due to these movies being blockbusters, and all the the cinematography was great, highlighting the beauty of the area was far from the focus of the film. But still, quiet and quaint.

Any other movies really come to mind?
