Thoughts of Welcome To Marwen (2018) !SPOILER ALERT!

Welcome To Marwen was a great movie, the acting was good and the story was excellent. I'd just finish watching the show an hour ago and I was impressed. Not only that it was based on a true story but the fact that the director could make it possible, making it a comic relief and sad, violent movie.

The movie goes to show the consequence of hate crime and what the person suffering might be effected. In this case, Mark (Steve Carell) Suffers hate crime and gets jumped in the street by people from the bar. Mark ends up getting brain damage and losing personal memory. In result of this, he suffers PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and Anxiety.

Throughout the movie you see obvious signs of struggle and scarring flashbacks. Marks way of letting free is doll making and photography. When he experience flashbacks and anxious moments for him he imagines on his own, dream world.

To me this was a perfect movie, it was romantic, sad, nail-biting, tear stealing at the same time. Just the thought of this being based on a true story is sad, that a real man had to suffer all these things just because he was "Different".

The way the animation in it is also gold, it sort of looked like live version of toy story but with a less quality camera, this really is a good movie. I recommend watching it, its on Netflix and just came out, I'd give it a 4 star.
