“There Will Be Blood”: 2007, Paul Thomas Anderson... I just want to talk about how great this movie is.

My father and I love this movie. My mother and sister is not so much. It’s much too slow moving for their liking. But it is exactly the slow, suspense building nature of this film that grips me, and keeps me coming back throughout the years. The first 20 minutes of utter silence… Not a single spoken word… But so much was said in that silence.

I could never call the movie my favorite of all time, but there will be blood is right up there in the top 10
