Cary Joji Fukunaga Is A Great Upcoming Talent

I'm very excited that Fukunaga directed the latest James Bond movie as he's a director who's career I've been watching with great interest. I thought he did a great job with both True Detective and Maniac. His camera work is always top notch his use of long takes and wide shots create a full picture of the movement and he uses very clean kinetic camera movements to move the action along. Beasts of No Nation is a very well done movie from a technical standpoint his cinematography stands out with a lot of beautiful shots and very crisp colors. His directing is also great with very unique frame composition with the way he shows Idris Elba towering over everyone and shooting the movie from a child's viewpoint. A long take is essentially a staple of his work and he's great at executing them. I think what makes him truly interesting is that he's a man of the world and it reflects in his writing. Sin Nombre, Beasts of No Nation, and Maniac are all incredibly different and he manages to capture and espouse on all of them. I'm very excited to see how he brings his energy and methodical style to Bond.
