Just finished watching 1986 classic buddy cop movie "Running Scared" starring Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal, and after they spoiler alert take down bad guy Jimmy Smits, it ends on a freeze frame.
Got me wondering when freeze frame endings became cliché and what was the last time it was used unironically?
