Movies you probably didn't realize had multiple sequels

You might remember The Land Before Time had a lot of sequels

But did you know Beethoven has seven sequels, six of which went direct to video?

Did you also know Beethoven, as a franchise, lasted 22 years?

That's kinda odd though...

Of all movies to not only make six direct to video movies of, but do it for over 20 years, why Beethoven?

The first 2 did well but enough to make a franchise for over 20 years? Really?
