Aaron Eckhart deserves more love for his portrayal of Harvey Dent/Two-Face in 'The Dark Knight'.

Upon a rewatch of The Dark Knight, I realized that while Heath Ledger's performance is the (rightfully) most talked about performance from the movie, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent is also a masterclass.

I believe that while the Joker and his portion of the plot alone make the movie the greatest superhero movie of all time, the inclusion of Dent's fall to become Two-Face, amazingly portrayed by Eckhart, elevates it to one of the greatest films of all-time.

Harvey is perfectly portrayed as Gotham's white knight corrupted by the evil world. You can feel the loss and pain he feels in every sentence, especially in the final scene when he asks Gordon to "lie, like he lied".

So in conclusion, I don't think Aaron Eckhart is talked about enough for this performance and it should be recognized as what pushes this movie from great to masterpiece.
