What's a movie that heavily features a Significant Other where the writers forgot to give them a personality besides "is the SO"?

I watched War Dogs last night and Ana de Armas was like the 4th most prominent character in that film (playing Miles Teller's gf/baby mama) and by the time the movie was almost over I realized... there's not a single thing that she said or did that wasn't in direct relation to Miles Teller's character. She was just "the girlfriend" and that's it. And the perfect one at that, I might add. She only leaves him after like, the 5th major lie she catches him in
