We've seen this in plenty of American, British, etc. movies: it's a historical piece set in France or China or ancient Rome or something, but everyone speaks English. We usually just accept this as a non-literal convention of the movie. But has this ever been done in reverse? A movie set in an English-speaking place, where everyone logically should be speaking English, but instead it's in the language of the country producing it? (Dubs wouldn't count.)
