I just made a comment in a post about Spiderman No Way Home about how the movie experience really seems to lack moments of surprise anymore. Especially big blockbusters.
It almost feels like the only way to have an organic movie experience as a movie fan is to actually stay away from movies altogether. Any fan forum now isn’t theorising, it’s literally just people discussing leaked spoilers. I’m sure you could find the plot online of any huge film coming out within the next year if you really wanted to.
So I’m just curious to know if there are any recent big movies that actually made you surprised?
