Coming up on the winter holidays, i’ve recently watched The Polar Express again. As i grow older i find this movie creeps me out more and more. Something about it gives me a disturbing vibe. Especially in “The North Pole” village, something seems very off about the distant music playing yet completely deserted village along with the endless cavities underneath the present factory. This paired with the mysterious characters onboard the train and the nature of a train which passes through on Christmas eve and picks up children to take to the north pole. Something in this movie doesn’t feel right to me… Anyone agree?
