Why are there so many stupid remakes of horror movies on streaming services, but no originals?

This is kind of a rant I guess btw. Its Halloween so I wanted to catch up on some classic films that I haven't seen like Halloween, Texas chainsaw massacre, and many more. I own Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney + but when I search these films up all I get are the new remakes, it's never the original
